The garage

I have just posted a number of photos of our new house. It is still a work in progress but we wanted you to be able to see that we are getting settled in. You can see in this photo that we still have boxes to un load. On the right side of the picture are mostly boxes that need broken down and to be taken to the recycling center. The things on the left still need un packed. A lot of it is books that belong in the office. I did not post and office photo - it is functional but still pretty scary from a decorating stand point.

Thanksgiving 2007

So here we are sitting down for Thanksgiving dinner. It was delicious! My mom who is taking the picute and I had a fun time cooking in the new kitchen. In the picture are my aunt Barbara, Margot, Marco and Niah. It looks like Cai might be there some where but not showing his best side evedently.

Family Room

This is the family room that shares space with my studio. There is a TV on the opposite wall. As well as a table for playing games or other projects.

Art Studio / Family Room

This is the art studio. Yo can see all my glass neatly organized in jars and in little bags attached to the bulletin boards. I am looking forward to getting back to working on projects.

Laundry Room

Ok .... I will let you peek in the laundry room.
I have shelves set up on the left side to put everyones clothes as they are folded. They can take them back to their rooms or come and get clothes as they need them.

Kitchen kids

Look where I found the boys... In the kitchen reading Garfield comics.

Kitchen #1

My mom sewed the drapes for the kitchen. They turned out cute. The kitchen we found out during Thanksgivng was nice for two people to cook in at the same time with out tripping all over each other.

Niah's Room

This is Niah's room. Lego central we call it. You can see his work table. Also take note of his cool lamp behind the bed. He eventually will get the white furnature from the old house. It however requres a lot of assembly. So his room is a work in progress.

Cai's Room

This is Cai's room he has two chairs because the second tv is in his room. His desk is on the right side of the room out side of this photo.

Guest Room

This is the guest and music room. The bed is from my moms. The music instruments came with us. The drums are on the other side.

Dining Room

This furnature came from my sisters house. It is a nice big table for things like dinner and dominos. My mom and aunt added lots of wonderful little decorating touches.

Living room / Dining Room

This is a view of the dining room as it attaches to the living room. It is a wonderful open space that would be great for hosting a home fellowship group.

Living Room #2

Another view of the living room. In this one you can see the gas fire place. The picture over the mantle is from my aunts.
The Christmas Tree needs to grow or something. It looks kind of little in this room. Not sure what will go in that corner after the holidays it is hard to find furnature that will work with the over stuffed couch and chair. Things tend to look miniture next to them.

Living Room #1

This is the living room. Our big over stuffed couch and chair used to feel way too big - they are just right in this house.

The stacked trunks came from my mom's house.

Our New House

This is our new home we are renting in Cheney Washington. It has 5 bedrooms, 2 baths, large living room and family room and kitchen.
